Abstract: The present application provides a method of isolating highly purified and characterized exosomes from tissue and cellular sources for the purpose of regenerative medicine as well as a composition including an exosome or an exosomal compound or component. The composition is used for the therapeutic treatment of various physiological damages and diseases, including skin or cutaneous damages/diseases, cardiovascular diseases, ophthalmic diseases, neurological diseases, viral diseases, and cancer among other damages and diseases.
