The instructions also cause the at least one processor to identify a player account, the player account associated with the operator, perform a first withdrawal transaction moving the funds transfer amount from the electronic gaming device to the player account, and in response to the first withdrawal transaction, automatically perform a second withdrawal transaction moving the funds transfer amount from the player account to the external player account.

Traditionally, a “progressive” controller for a set of EGMs comprises a set of services that runs on dedicated servers/hardware and provides progressive functionality (e.g., tracking and administering various “progressive jackpots”) for a large number of EGMs. One aim of the OBC schemes disclosed herein is to eliminate the need for dedicated servers or additional hardware for smaller scale progressive setups, such as a relatively small area or a moderately-sized bank of connected EGMs (e.g., less than 32 games) on a casino floor.
