  • Patent number: 12752844
Abstract: An implement includes a steering input operable to receive a desired vehicle steering command and a differential hydraulic drive system. A drive controller determines an acceleration rate of the steering input while receiving the desired vehicle steering command and defines a left acceleration rate and a right acceleration for a left hydraulic drive system and a right hydraulic drive system respectively based on the acceleration rate of the steering input while receiving the desired vehicle steering command. The drive controller communicates the left acceleration rate and the right acceleration rate to the differential hydraulic drive system to achieve the desired vehicle steering command.

  • Publication number: 20260251098
Abstract: A power management system and power management method for a work machine. The power management system and method include a real time data interface configured to receive real time work machine data. A processor is configured to compute current machine operating conditions based on work machine data. The processor is further configured to compute an optimized engine speed or an optimized maximum power based on the current machine operating requirements, and to adjust one of the engine speed or the maximum power based on a status of one of a ground speed automation selector, a power mode selector, or an economy mode selector.

  • Patent number: 12469118
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining a leaf-to-stem ratio of a crop automatically from an image of the crop. An agricultural vehicle may include a crop analysis system having a computing device and an imaging device for capturing an image of a crop. The computing device analyzes images acquired by the imaging determine to determine a leaf-to-stem ratio of the crop.

  • Publication number: 20250268142
Abstract: The present disclosure is a system for controlling an agricultural machine. The system has a merger belt assembly comprising a merger belt, a controller configure to selectively control the merger belt assembly, and a user input configured to provide a desired belt speed command to the controller indicating a desired operating speed of the merger belt. The controller provides instructions to the merger belt assembly of the agricultural machine to operate the merger belt at the desired operating speed. Further, the controller is configured to monitor an actual merger belt speed of the merger belt assembly and provide a response when the actual merger belt speed is outside of a desired operating speed threshold established by the desired belt speed command.

  • Publication number: 20250261583
Abstract: A harvester implement includes a first motion sensor mounted on a traction unit at a location defining a traction unit elevation datum, and a second motion sensor mounted on an implement head at a location defining a head elevation datum. The implement head defines a head spacing between the head elevation datum and a ground contact surface of the implement head. An implement controller determines an offset distance between the traction unit elevation datum and the head elevation datum based on data from the first motion sensor related to movement of the traction unit and data from the second motion sensor related to movement of the implement head. The controller may then calculate a head height between the ground surface and the ground contact surface of the implement head by subtracting the offset distance and the head spacing from the traction unit elevation datum.

  • Publication number: 20250256773
Abstract: A self-propelled windrower implement includes a drive pump coupled to and powered by a primary power supply. A drive motor is disposed in fluid communication with the drive pump and is operable to convert a fluid flow from the drive pump into a rotational output having a torque and a rotational speed. A drive wheel is drivenly coupled to the drive motor for rotation about a drive axis in response to the rotational output of the drive motor. The drive motor is a variable displacement hydraulic motor that is controllable to adjust a motor displacement to vary at least one of the torque and the rotational speed of the rotational output for the defined flow rate and the defined pressure of the fluid flow from the drive pump.

  • Publication number: 20240032475
Abstract: A system and method for grouping crop bales. A constituent sensor can sense properties of a crop material of a crop bale, with the sensed data being stored as a dataset. An operator can select a classification goal, each selectable classification goal having multiple categories that relate to different levels within the selected classification goal. Classification goals can assign weightages to properties of the datasets. A bale grouping computing device can group the datasets using a k-means clustering analysis, with each category of the selected classification goal providing a different cluster for the k-means clustering analysis. The assigned weightages can influence a determination as to a centroid location for each cluster. The cluster to which a dataset is assigned indicates the category to which the crop bale belongs. Crop bales assigned to the same cluster can be grouped together as having similar characteristics for purposes of the selected classification goal.
