Abstract: The present disclosure relates to utilizing a real-time event data reporting system that makes real-time and near-real-time monitoring and reporting possible in edge devices. For example, in various instances, the real-time event data reporting system embeds services within traditional event data collectors of edge devices to obtain, organize, and publish event data for local computing devices in real time utilizing in-memory storage. Additionally, the real-time event data reporting system further processes the published event data to generate aggregated data that is persisted to a persistence storage. In this manner, the real-time reporting system efficiently and accurately provides event data reports to client devices with processed metric data in real time, or in near-real time when utilizing additional fallback safeguards.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to generating, updating, modifying, and otherwise managing configurations for virtual services on a cloud computing system. The present disclosure provides example implementations of a configuration management system and configuration handlers on respective server nodes that receive and process requests for modifying one or more configurations that manage operation of virtual services on the cloud. Systems described herein involve leveraging a hierarchical model of configuration characteristics to facilitate both large and small scale modifications. Moreover, the systems described herein leverage a persistent store on server nodes to identify how to update a current base configuration and sub-version as well as synchronize modifications across a set of server nodes.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for obtaining property data for an object that is monitored for change, wherein the data source contains data for a current cycle. Further obtaining property data for the object for a previous cycle and comparing the property data for the object for the current and previous cycles to generate a change event when the property data for the object for the current and previous cycles do not match.
