  • Patent number: 12551710
Abstract: A medical apparatus for a patient comprises an external system and an implantable system. The external system is configured to transmit one or more transmission signals, each transmission signal comprising at least power or data. The implantable system is configured to receive the one or more transmission signals from the external system, and to deliver stimulation energy to the patient. Methods of delivering stimulation energy are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20260000906
Abstract: Illumination devices for directing light on tissue to induce one or more biological effects, and more particularly activation structures in phototherapeutic illumination devices. Activation structures are integrated within phototherapeutic illumination devices and are configured to avoid electrical activation during shipping and/or between uses. Exemplary activation structures include various integrated sensors, such as accelerometers and proximity sensors. Signals from accelerometers may be used to trigger illumination devices to respond to subsequent signals from proximity sensors for beginning treatment. Accelerometers may be inactive or ignored during shipping until initial device charging.

  • Publication number: 20250099776
Abstract: Illumination devices for directing light on tissue to induce one or more biological effects and more particularly phototherapeutic illumination devices with modular structures are disclosed. Modular structures are disclosed that provide the ability to have various changeable attributes for illumination devices based on intended treatment protocols. Modular structures may include tokens, switches, handles, rechargeable power structures, control modules, illumination modules, optics, light guides, and/or light guide positioners, among others.
