  • Publication number: 20260129556
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for signaling for transmission modes among access points (APs). Some aspects more specifically relate to signaling and physical layer protocol date unit (PPDU) formats for implementing coordinated communications among multiple APs, such as for one or more transmission modes, which may include a coordinated beamforming (COBF), a coordinated spatial reuse (C-SR), an interference mitigation (IM), or a vendor specific (VS) transmission mode. In some examples, a first AP may transmit first information in a first subset of bits of a universal signal (U-SIG) field, that indicates a transmission mode of the multiple transmission modes associated with a shared transmission opportunity (TXOP). Different subsets of bits within the U-SIG field may indicate the transmission mode of the shared TXOP and one or more associated parameters of one or both of the APs.

  • Publication number: 20260121796
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices, and systems for ultra-high reliability (UHR) signaling design. • Publication number: 20260122628
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for multi-layer signaling for ambient power (AMP) devices. Some aspects enable early differentiation between non-backscatter AMP device types through signaling in AMP downlink physical layer protocol data units (PPDUs). For example, a wireless device receives a first portion of an AMP downlink PPDU indicating an intended STA type (such as an active transmitter or an AMP-enabled device) and selectively receives subsequent portions of the AMP downlink PPDU in accordance with whether the type of the wireless device matches the indicated type. In scenarios in which the types match, the wireless device continues receiving the PPDU. Otherwise, the wireless device ceases reception to conserve energy and processing resources. The first portion may include one or more fields that indicate the intended STA type, may indicate a medium access control (MAC) frame type that implicitly indicates the intended STA type, or both.

  • Publication number: 20260106678
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for interference mitigation (IM) mode signaling designs for a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU). Some aspects relate to IM mode signaling designs according to which a wireless communication device determines a tone plan in accordance with an ON or OFF state of the IM mode. For example, an ON state of the IM mode may correspond to a first tone plan and an OFF state of the IM mode may correspond to a second tone plan. The first tone plan may define first fixed pilot tone locations, with pilot tones at the first fixed pilot tone locations being usable as IM pilot tones and/or usable as carrier frequency offset (CFO) pilot tones. The second tone plan may define second fixed pilot tone locations, with pilot tones at the second fixed pilot tone locations being exclusively usable as CFO pilot tones.

  • Publication number: 20260106708
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for interference mitigation (IM) mode signaling designs for a physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU). Some aspects relate to IM mode signaling designs according to which two or more wireless communication devices may determine locations of IM pilot tones within a data portion of a PPDU. In some examples, the wireless communication device may input IM pilot tones prior to a spatial mapping stage in a transmit flow. In such examples, the wireless communication device may insert the IM pilot tones at fixed locations within the data portion of the PPDU and may support an interleaving stage such that the IM pilot tones are factored in. The interleaving stage may be associated with a tone mapping distance or an interleaver that is specific to scenarios in which the IM mode is set to an ON state.
