Publication number: 20230379889Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a first scheduling assignment that includes an indication of one or more first resources and an indication of a first priority for a first sidelink data transmission from another WTRU. The first WTRU may determine to send a second sidelink data transmission associated with a second priority that is lower than the first priority. The first WTRU may determine a signal strength associated with the first scheduling assignment and may select one or more resources for sending the second sidelink data transmission. The first WTRU may determine that one or more first resources are available for transmission of the second sidelink data transmission based on the signal strength associated with the first scheduling assignment being below a threshold. The first WTRU may send a second scheduling assignment including an indication of the selected one or more resources for the second sidelink data transmission.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 1, 2023Publication date: November 23, 2023Applicant: InterDigital Patent Holdings, Inc.Inventors: Marian Rudolf, Benoit Pelletier, Diana Pani, Paul Marinier, Samian Kaur, Martino Freda

Publication number: 20230353432Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for Uplink operation in LTE unlicensed spectrum (LTE-U). A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive licensed assisted access (LAA) configuration information, e.g., for a first cell from a second cell. The first cell may be associated with operation in an unlicensed band, and the second cell may be associated with operation in a licensed band. The WTRU may determine whether a first subframe is a sounding reference signal (SRS) subframe for the first cell. If the first subframe is an SRS subframe for the first cell, the WTRU may determine SRS resources for the first subframe and determine whether the WTRU is triggered to transmit an SRS transmission in the first subframe. If it is determined the WTRU is triggered to transmit the SRS transmission in the first subframe, the WTRU may transmit the SRS transmission on the SRS resources for the first subframe.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 12, 2023Publication date: November 2, 2023Applicant: INTERDIGITAL PATENT HOLDINGS, INC.Inventors: Janet A. Stern-Berkowitz, Pouriya Sadeghi, J. Patrick Tooher, Samian Kaur, Marian Rudolf, Pascal M. Adjakple

Publication number: 20230354464Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for a WTRU to operate using multiple schedulers. The WTRU may exchange data with the network over more than one data path, such that each data path may use a radio interface connected to a different network node and each node may be associated with an independent scheduler. For example, a WTRU may establish a RRC connection between the WTRU and a network. The RRC connection may establish a first radio interface between the WTRU and a first serving site of the network and a second radio interface between the WTRU and a second serving site of the network. The RRC connection may be established between the WTRU and the MeNB and a control function may be established between the WTRU and the SCeNB. The WTRU may receive data from the network over the first radio interface or the second radio interface.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 5, 2023Publication date: November 2, 2023Applicant: InterDigital Patent Holdings, IncInventors: Ghyslain Pelletier, Paul Marinier, Diana Pani, Stephen E.
