Abstract: The present invention recognizes that there is a long felt need for devices that can prevent self-inflicted or other types of wounds to the inner surfaces of the mount, in particular the inner cheek, and to promote the healing of such wounds. A first aspect of the present invention generally relates to a protective inner cheek pad. A second aspect of the present invention generally relates to a method of making a protective inner cheek pad. A third aspect of the present invention generally relates to a method of using a protective inner cheek pad. A fourth aspect of the present invention generally relates to a medicated inner cheek pad.
