Publication number: 20240403751Abstract: An process analysis computing system receives input data that identifies a subject-matter expert (SME) process, such as an SME process that requires detailed information regarding a very large quantity of information about the SME process. In the process analysis computing system, a scenario selection engine extracts process factors and user factors from the input data. Based on the process factors and user factors, the scenario selection engine determines initial schedule data describing event stages and milestone stages included in the SME process, and also generates user-specific process schedule data based on a modification of the initial schedule data. A user-specific execution engine in the process analysis computing system receives the user-specific process schedule data. Based on a milestone stage dependency in the user-specific process schedule data, the process analysis computing system controls access to a requested resource associated with the SME process.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 5, 2023Publication date: December 5, 2024Inventors: Dennis E. Patent number: 11666829Abstract: A system includes at least one hardware processor in communication with a gaming device and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one hardware processor, cause the at least one hardware processor to perform operations including receiving suspect gaming behavior data associated with a suspect user playing a computer game on the gaming device, comparing the suspect gaming behavior data to a user gaming behavior profile associated with another user, the user gaming behavior profile includes at least one component of behavior associated with the other user and the computer game representing a pattern of conduct of the other user, and based on the comparing, authenticating the suspect user for access to a target system as the other user.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2020Date of Patent: June 6, 2023Assignee: Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.Inventors: Abhijit Rao, Edward J. Landers, Byron G. Chun, Samuel B. Martin, Michael H. Chang, Traci H. Nguyen, Douglas S. Pelton

Publication number: 20210297406Abstract: A system includes at least one hardware processor in communication with a first computing device of a suspect party and a second computing device of an inquiring party, the suspect party being targeted for trust evaluation by the inquiring party, and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one hardware processor, cause the at least one hardware processor to perform operations. The operations include receiving, from the second computing device, a request to perform a trust evaluation of the suspect party, the request including a permission token, identifying the suspect party based on the permission token, generating a trust result for the suspect party based on financial data associated with the suspect party, the trust result indicating an assessed level of trustworthiness of the suspect party, and transmitting the trust result to the second computing device for display to the inquiring party.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 4, 2016Publication date: September 23, 2021Inventors: Edward J. Landers, Abhijit Rao, Byron G. Chun, Samuel B. Martin, Michael H. Chang, Traci H. Nguyen, Douglas S. Pelton

Patent number: 11071910Abstract: A system includes at least one hardware processor in communication with a user computing device associated with a user and a memory storing instructions. When executed by the at least one hardware processor, the instructions cause the at least one hardware processor to perform operations including receiving gaming behavior data associated with the user playing a computer game on the user computing device, the gaming behavior data includes one or more of session-based behavior data, game-selection behavior data, and ancillary gaming behavior data, determining a first trait of the user based on the gaming behavior data, and automatically computing a financial risk factor associated with the user based on the determined first trait.Type: GrantFiled: July 18, 2019Date of Patent: July 27, 2021Assignee: Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.Inventors: Edward J. Landers, Byron G. Chun, Samuel B. Martin, Michael H. Chang, Abhijit Rao, Traci H. Nguyen, Douglas S. Pelton

Patent number: 5272293Abstract: A rolamite acceleration sensor which has a failsafe feature including a housing, a pair of rollers, a tension band wrapped in an S shaped fashion around the rollers, wherein the band has a force-generation cut out and a failsafe cut out or weak portion. The failsafe cut out or weak portion breaks when the sensor is subjected to an excessive acceleration so that the sensor fails in an open circuit (non-conducting) state permanently.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 1992Date of Patent: December 21, 1993Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the United States Department of EnergyInventors: Joseph P. Patent number: 4995954Abstract: A reproducible process for uniformly etching silicon from a series of micromechanical structures used in electrical devices and the like includes providing a micromechanical structure having a silicon layer with defined areas for removal thereon and an electrochemical cell containing an aqueous hydrofluoric acid electrolyte. The micromechanical structure is submerged in the electrochemical cell and the defined areas of the silicon layer thereon are anodically biased by passing a current through the electrochemical cell for a time period sufficient to cause the defined areas of the silicon layer to become porous. The formation of the depth of the porous silicon is regulated by controlling the amount of current passing through the electrochemical cell. The micromechanical structure is then removed from the electrochemical cell and submerged in a hydroxide solution to remove the porous silicon.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 1990Date of Patent: February 26, 1991Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Department of EnergyInventors: Terry R.
