  • Publication number: 20260122446
Abstract: A wireless speaker has at least two base surfaces oriented at an obtuse angle relative to each other, so that a user can push the speaker onto one base surface to aim the sonic axis in a first direction and then tilt the speaker onto the other base surface to aim the sonic axis in a second direction. When resting on the first base the speaker is in a substantially upright orientation although the speaker driver, which may be a planar driver, is slightly tilted up within the speaker housing.

  • Publication number: 20260122438
Abstract: In a wireless stereo system including first and second battery-powered speakers, if low power is sensed in the second speaker, the user may be given the option of shifting the first speaker to mono mode, or maintain the first speaker in stereo mode, playing its assigned channel, or alter a left/right stereo balance between the speakers. Speaker setting may also change depending on whether a speaker is on or off a charging dock.

  • Publication number: 20200066457
Abstract: Capacitors, including multilayer ceramic capacitors, may be subject to faults and failures that create short circuits between their dielectrics. Capacitors having fuses that protect the capacitors or the electrical devices using the capacitors when such faults occur are described herein. Embodiments include the presence of monolithic and non-monolithic structures including the fuse. Embodiments also include capacitors with multiple fuses that may prevent or mitigate capacitor failure. Methods for manufacturing and using the capacitors are also described.
