  • Patent number: 5716581
Abstract: A unitary plastic refrigerator door is produced by simultaneously thermoforming an outer refrigerator door panel with an inner refrigerator door liner. During production, an annular flange portion of the inner refrigerator door liner is joined with an annular sidewall portion of the outer refrigerator door panel at an attachment location positioned inwardly of the annular side wall portion. The inner refrigerator door liner is also formed with either an annular recess or a plurality of spaced recesses in its annular flange portion adjacent the attachment location of the inner refrigerator door liner and the outer refrigerator floor panel that is adapted to press-fittingly receive a door gasket. Preferably, the outer refrigerator door panel includes a thickened portion that is formed with a handle defining recess. A method of thermoforming the refrigerator door is also provided and advantageously enables the inner refrigerator door liner to be produced on a male mold member.

  • Patent number: 5094500
Abstract: A motorized golf cart having a double wall thermoformed canopy fixedly connected to and supported over a chassis. The canopy has a bottom wall with fastener holes passing therethrough. A frame is provided to support the canopy having a front generally rectangular member and a rear inverted U-shaped member with apertures for passage of bolts therethrough. Blind fasteners are positioned in the bottom wall fastener holes and bolts passed through the frame apertures and into the blind fasteners to securely mount the canopy to the frame.

  • Patent number: 5036938
Abstract: A riding scooter that may be assembled and dis-assembled without the use of tools is formed of components of a size and weight such that they may be handled by a person of modest physical strength. The scooter's front and rear sections have overlapping interengaging parts that are biased together in the operative position by the weight of the sections alone. Batteries for electrical power are contained within casings which are cooperatively retained within a battery housing and which also permit the batteries to be simultaneously electrically connected to the vehicle electrical system upon insertion of the battery casings within the battery housing. A steering tiller is detachably mounted to the front steering yoke being retained in an operative position by a quick release locking collar.

  • Patent number: 4993604
Abstract: A post-mix beverage dispensing system of a small size and capacity includes a minimal number of cabinet-mounted dispensing valve assemblies to be used in combination with a larger number of syrup valve adaptor assemblies. The adaptor assemblies are attached to removable syrup containers and are removable from the cabinet-mounted valve assemblies with the containers. The adaptor assemblies include syrup outlet turbes with flow-rate orifice plates therein matched to predetermined brix values of syrup flavors. A valve actuation assembly is provided which may selectively dispense either soda water alone or a carbonated post-mix beverage.

  • Patent number: 4355735
Abstract: A beverage dispensing device for dispensing carbonated drinks that are mixed from a solution of carbonated water and syrup. The device includes a syrup package, a source of carbonated water, and a mixing head connected to the source of carbonated water and to said syrup package for mixing a measured amount of the carbonated water with the syrup for producing carbonated drinks. The syrup package is carried in a receptacle and is coupled to a source of pressurized gas. A valve having a valve actuator positioned thereon is interposed between the source of pressurized gas and the coupling device with the valve actuator obstructing the removal of the package when in a first position and when in a second position venting the syrup package prior to permitting removal thereof.

  • Patent number: 4323171
Abstract: A liquid container having easy penetratable wall portions provided in laterally extending hollow lobes or protuberances which communicate with the interior of the container. The container is impaled upon piercing pins positioned in sockets carried in a beverage dispensing device. The lateral protuberances serve as suspension elements for supporting the container and also provide surfaces through which piercing pins supply pressurized gas to the container and remove liquid syrup from the container for mixing with a carbonated liquid.
