  • Patent number: 5005869
Abstract: The present application discloses a book form picture or document holder. It consists of a pair of binder covers the front of which is a picture frame and the back a rigid flat which includes support and artwork. A length of thread that is nearly invisible links a plurality of pages in a manner that avoids page by page turning when in use. An automatic method of display of successive pages of a document using this invention is also disclosed and would be of use in document displays.

  • Patent number: 4708686
Abstract: A sealed container with a movable weight therein is eccentrically mounted within a light rollable object on a guideway. Liquid mercury, powered metal, or metal pellets or spheres would move within the container to shift the center of gravity. Maintaining the center of gravity of the weight to the uphill side of a vertical extension of the tangent between the rolling object and the guideway will enable the rolling object to return uphill after rolling down within a limit, thereby seeming to defy the law of gravity.

  • Patent number: 4565183
Abstract: A spring-actuated plunger in an elongated tube imparts a directional force to a spongy projectile. A gravity release pin for cocking the plunger permits rapid firing. A loading magazine with a releasable spring-loaded ball permits either gravity or manual loading. Dye-impregnated projectiles stun rather than injure would-be attackers and leave an imprint not visible to the naked eye.

  • Patent number: 4411096
Abstract: There is disclosed in the present application a toy in the form of a doll or statue representing a human figure, including a body and a head which is completely separable from the body. The head is contoured and balanced in such a way that when displaced downwardly from its normal at rest position atop the body, it rolls back upwardly to its normal position, seemingly in defiance of gravity. The movement of the head toward its normal position is accomplished by one or more weights embedded in the head, which provide the necessary torque to cause it to move upwardly to its position on the shoulders.

  • Patent number: 4317797
Abstract: A resin purger which reliably determines when purging is completed and prnts humid air from re-entering the purged material. A sealed container has an inlet valve attached to a source of inert purge gas and an outlet valve. A diffuser is connected to the outlet valve to screen the exit gas from the container. A probe sensor detects the amount of oxygen in the exit gas and indicates when purging is complete.
