A camera device driver enables operation of the camera interface. A device manager operates on the computer. The device manager has a camera activity monitor and a microphone activity monitor. An indicator device application is installed on the computer. The indicator device application queries the device manager for the status of the camera activity and the microphone activity. An indicator device is external to the computer. The indicator device is configured to be connected to the computer at an indicator device interface. A supplemental indicator light is mounted to the indicator device.

Abstract: Example methods and systems to obtain images associated with target cells distributed in a cytology specimen have been disclosed. One example method includes obtaining a first image associated with a first region of the cytology specimen through a first object lens, determining a first subregion of the first region, obtaining a second set of one or more images associated with the first subregion through a second object lens, identifying a third image from the first image, and in response to a ratio of a second number of the target cells in the second set of one or more images to the first number of the target cells in the third image being in a predetermined range, obtaining images associated with the target cells based on the second set of images.

Abstract: The present invention provides a cell counting and culture interpretation method and its application, which includes: obtaining a cell culture image; segmenting the cell culture image by a cell inference model to obtain a plurality of regions corresponding to a plurality of classification parameters; calculating a culture parameter corresponding to one of the classification parameters; and determining to replace a culture medium when the culture parameter is between 0.05 and 0.15 and determining to harvest cells when the culture parameter is greater than 0.69. The present invention can provide objective and consistent standards to further improve efficiency and reduce manpower costs.
