Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for a vehicle bed shell. The system includes a pair of sidewalls with each including a top portion and two horizontal railings. The sidewalls are coupled to parallel sides of a bed of a vehicle. The system also includes at least one cross beam coupled perpendicularly to each of the horizontal railings of the sidewalls configured to stabilize each sidewall. The system also includes a plurality of cylindrical inserts, including a bottom. The system also includes a hinge element, with a sleeve, one or more hinge plates, and a vertical railing. The hinge element is coupled to a back side of each of the sidewalls, and the sleeve and the one or more hinge plates are configured to slide along the vertical railing. The system also includes a back wall that is coupled to at least one of the sidewalls via the hinge element.
