    Abstract: An apparatus for automatically applying roofing panels to the purlins of a steel frame building is described. A wheeled cart containing a plurality of roofing panels rolls longitudinally of the purlins of the building and automatically deposits roofing panels on the purlins. An automatic fastening device is provided to secure the panels to the purlins in synchronism with the deposit thereof on the purlins.
