Abstract: A drive mechanism for a bimini top with a pair of bimini arms supporting the bimini top includes a motor, a worm screw coupled with the motor for rotation by the motor, and a driven gear coupled with the worm screw. One of the pair of bimini arms is connected to the driven gear, and the driven gear is configured for displacement between a stowed position and an extended position by operation of the motor. A pivot hub engages the driven gear via an intermediate hub, and the other of the pair of bimini arms is connected to the pivot hub. The pivot hub and intermediate hub are configured for displacement between a down position and an up position by operation of the motor through the driven gear and the intermediate hub. A first arc spanned by the driven gear between the stowed position and the extended position is greater than a second arc spanned by the pivot hub between the down position and the up position.

  • Publication number: 20210170148
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to catheter system comprising a balloon and an infusion basket designed to be deployed in complex vasculature to optimally treat vascular and arterial disease conditions such as blood clots, blood emboli, and deep vein thrombosis. The basket may comprise a shaft with a plurality of cuts along a portion of its length to form a plurality of tines that provide support for a plurality of porous tubes to form the limbs of the basket. The limbs of the basket expand radially away from the longitudinal axis of the basket when the longitudinal length of the basket is reduced. The limbs may also be connected to a drug delivery system, and in this manner, baskets of the present disclosure allow for the use of both mechanical and pharmaceutical means of thrombolysis and thrombectomy.

  • Patent number: 9254927
Abstract: The present invention provides an aircraft assembly with a fixed structure and a high-lift device. The fixed structure has a spar, a forward part which provides a foremost edge of an aircraft wing, and a lower part which provides a lower surface of the aircraft wing. A high-lift device is downwardly movable relative to the fixed structure from a stowed configuration to a deployed configuration. The high-lift device has a forward part which provides a foremost edge of the aircraft wing and a lower part which provides a lower surface of the aircraft wing. Downward movement of the high-lift device causes progressive opening of a lateral gap between the lower part of the high-lift device and the lower part of the fixed structure. A retractable infill panel is arranged to progressively extend from a retracted configuration to an extended configuration to fill the lateral gap.
