  • Patent number: 11652143
Abstract: Disclosed herein are IC structures, packages, and devices that include thin-film transistors (TFTs) integrated on the same substrate/die/chip as III-N devices, e.g., III-N transistors. In various aspects, TFTs integrated with III-N transistors have a channel and source/drain materials that include one or more of a crystalline material, a polycrystalline semiconductor material, or a laminate of crystalline and polycrystalline materials. In various aspects, TFTs integrated with III-N transistors are engineered to include one or more of 1) graded dopant concentrations in their source/drain regions, 2) graded dopant concentrations in their channel regions, and 3) thicker and/or composite gate dielectrics in their gate stacks.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9569927
Abstract: A gaming machine and a gaming system is described. Gaming machines may be reserved by operating a button panel. In certain embodiments the reserved gaming machine or a head system causes the printing of a ticket and when that ticket is read by a bill acceptor, the gaming machine unlocks. In other embodiments, reservation is made by other means, including player cards.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 30, 2013
Date of Patent: February 14, 2017
Assignee: Aristocrat Technologies Australia Pty Limited
Inventors: Louis Lui, Robert Linley Muir, David Thomas Francis Curry, John Leslie Boesen, David Samuel Jack
  • Patent number: 8753198
Abstract: A reservation request is received from a player of a gaming system as to a reservation time, a desired gaming terminal and a desired game. The request is processed, and if acceptable, the reservation is made.

  • Patent number: 6171556
Abstract: A method and apparatus in accordance with the invention is described which comprises treating an engine exhaust gas stream containing hydrocarbons and other pollutants. The method of this invention comprises the steps of flowing the exhaust gas stream through a catalytic member comprising a monolith body having a first catalyst zone and a second catalyst zone therein to contact a catalyst in a first catalyst zone to convert at least some of the pollutants in the exhaust gas stream into innocuous products. The exhaust gas stream is then discharged from the catalytic member and flowed through an adsorbent zone to adsorb at least some of the hydrocarbon pollutants with an adsorbent composition. The exhaust gas stream is then discharged from the adsorbent zone and flowed to the second catalyst zone to convert at least some of the pollutants into innocuous products. The exhaust gas stream, so treated, is then discharged to the atmosphere through suitable discharge means.
