  • Patent number: 11438312
Abstract: Seamless connectivity utilizing multi-domain security by storing a global key on each participant computing devices. When a participant computing device tries to connect to a network, the network sends encryption keys for that network in response to that participant computing device providing the global key and not being blacklisted. The participant computing device can then connect to the network using that network's encryption key. A meta-message container is generated for the message based on a next participant in a route from the transmitting participant to the destination participant. One or more series of one or more line items are generated for the message, with each line item being tagged tag with network information. The line items are encrypted based on the network information. The meta-message container and the encrypted series of line items are then transmitted to the next participant.

  • Publication number: 20220187586
Abstract: In order to remove the need for manual re-positioning of a sample (e.g., a tissue sample) on a microscope stage, systems and methods for sample positioning are described. A sample can be attached to a tissue positioning device. Then a microscope can be used to take a plurality of microscopy images (e.g., 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, etc.) of a surface of the sample in a rotational geometry using the tissue positioning device to facilitate the microscopy.

  • Patent number: 11222460
Abstract: One embodiment provides a user interface (UI) that permits users to select how point cloud colorings determined from multiple data sources are blended together in a rendering of a point cloud. The data sources may include photographic, label, and/or LIDAR intensity data. To improve frame rates, an aggregated point cloud may be generated using a spatial hash of a large set of points and sampling of each hash bucket based on the number of points therein and a user-configurable density. Sizes of points in the point cloud may decrease proportionally to distance from a viewer, but increase based on an activation function that enlarges points greater than a threshold distance from the viewer. In addition, luminance statistics for sub-regions of photographic data and dominant colors determined from photographic data may be used to automatically determine color properties to apply to a point cloud coloring.

  • Patent number: 11119787
Abstract: Systems and methods for non-intrusive hardware profiling are provided. In some cases integrated circuit devices can be manufactured without native support for performance measurement and/or debugging capabilities, thereby limiting visibility into the integrated circuit device. Understanding the timing of operations can help to determine whether the hardware of the device is operating correctly and, when the device is not operating correctly, provide information that can be used to debug the device. In order to measure execution time of various tasks performed by the integrated circuit device, program instructions may be inserted to generate notifications that provide tracing information, including timestamps, for operations executed by the integrated circuit device.

  • Patent number: 11076890
Abstract: Various rod-to-rod connectors having robust rod closure mechanisms and related methods are disclosed herein, e.g., for enhancing the locking or clamping force on a rod. An exemplary connector can provide a robust closure mechanism for rod-to-rod connections in which the run-on length of a rod slot is minimal. The connector can include a moveable jaw that is partially disposed within a connector body and configured to pivot or translate relative to the connector body to form a fully or substantially closed rod slot around a first rod. The closed rod slot can be formed between a first rod-receiving recess defined in the connector body and a counterpart first rod-receiving recess defined in the moveable jaw. The locking or clamping force of the moveable jaw can be amplified by a mechanical advantage caused by the force exerted to lock a second rod in a second rod-receiving slot of the connector body.

  • Patent number: 11045636
Abstract: An apparatus for selectively coupling a first tube and a second tube allows easy separation and connection of tubing in cases of accidental or forceful removal of the tube. A first connecting member and a second connecting member can be easily connected and disconnected as needed to prevent and allow fluid flow to and from a patient. The apparatus can be applied to prevent the accidental removal of patients undergoing extended treatments involving tubes entering the body in the clinical, geriatric, or other care settings. The apparatus also allows for the purposeful detachment and sealing of tubes entering the body to allow for increased patient mobility.

  • Patent number: 11018975
Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and software to enhance flow operations on a host computing system. In one implementation, a virtual switch on a host identifies a packet from a virtual node. In response to identifying the packet, the virtual switch determines whether the packet corresponds to a cached result action based on traits of the packet. If the packet corresponds to a cached result action, then the virtual switch may process the packet in accordance with the cached result action. In contrast, if the packet does not correspond to a cached result action, then the virtual switch may process the packet in accordance with first flow operations to determine a result action, and cache the result action for use with future packets.

  • Publication number: 20210106360
Abstract: Implants with grip grooves are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, an implant includes a rod-receiving recess defining a rod axis where an inner surface of the rod-receiving recess defines two grip grooves extending parallel to each other and the rod axis. Each grip groove defines two edges where the grip groove intersects the inner surface, the four edges of the two grip grooves together defining a circular radius about the rod axis. The implant includes a retaining member configured to move with respect to the body to apply a force against a rod that is perpendicular to the rod axis, the force engaging the rod against the four edges of the grip grooves, where the engagement of the four edges of the grip grooves against the rod restrains rotational movement of the rod about the rod axis.

  • Publication number: 20200410328
Abstract: Embodiments include techniques for enabling execution of N inferences on an execution engine of a neural network device. Instruction code for a single inference is stored in a memory that is accessible by a DMA engine, the instruction code forming a regular code block. A NOP code block and a reset code block for resetting an instruction DMA queue are stored in the memory. The instruction DMA queue is generated such that, when it is executed by the DMA engine, it causes the DMA engine to copy, for each of N inferences, both the regular code block and an additional code block to an instruction buffer. The additional code block is the NOP code block for the first N?1 inferences and is the reset code block for the Nth inference. When the reset code block is executed by the execution engine, the instruction DMA queue is reset.
