    Abstract: Stair savers is a u shaped bracket for securing old steps where the original wooden stringer is failing. It is made of solid half inch thick square mild steel drilled in two planes and reaching from the continues part of the stringer to the steps and riser. As stair saver is made of solid steel it can be removed at a later time and used to make new stringers.
