  • Patent number: 4031650
Abstract: A retractable net is disclosed having a handle and a flexible band forming net hoop. A slide moves essentially from one end of the handle to the other, and contains the ends of the flexible band. A spreader assembly at the net end of the handle shapes the band as it is extended and retracted into a substantially bilaterally symmetrical configuration from a maximum opening to a minimum opening. In addition, a lock having a cam action type toggle mechanism is provided interiorly of the spreader. A paddle bag is formed to fit over the net in its small or retracted configuration thereby securing the netting from falling and sagging, and serving as a paddle for the boat in which the fisherman may be using the net in its fishing configuration.

  • Patent number: 3976413
Abstract: An adjustable fish bait forming device is disclosed having a body, a pusher, a tip, an adjusting screw, an adjustment knob, the same being assembled in sequential order of tip and body, pusher within the body, an adjustment knob being at the end of the body remote from the tip. A piston is provided to reciprocate within a cylinder defined at the tip, beginning at a predetermined position within the cylinder so that a bait may be formed of infinitely variable length within the confines of the structure by pressing the tip into the bait, removing the same, and then actuating the pusher to remove the bait. As disclosed the threaded means for determining the position of the piston at the beginning of the formation of the dough is a left-hand thread in order to provide for clockwise adjustment to decrease the size of the bait. Also, at the top of the pusher, an index point is provided which operates in conjunction with graduations to predetermine the length of the bait.

  • Patent number: 3933315
Abstract: A food chopper is shown with a body having an upper and lower portion in which a convoluted blade is supported on a cross bar for purposes of chopping food stuffs contained in the lower housing and enclosed by a cutting surface secured beneath the lower housing. A cushioned type handle is provided atop the shaft which is connected to the blade, and a plunger shaft surrounds the main shaft and coacts with a plunger shaft guide interior of the upper housing to promote dimensional stability. The convoluted blade is secured to slots in the cross bar by means of pins which pass through and engage holes provided in the upper portion of the convoluted blade.
