  • Patent number: 11533862
Abstract: A method of selecting a plant variety for cultivation in a target area includes selecting a selection score function; estimating values of a first set of environmental parameters for a predefined future period of time for the target area and receiving a set of phenotype information including phenotypic trait measurements for a first sub-set of a plurality of plant varieties and a set o environmental parameters for said first sub-set. Furthermore, the method includes determining a prediction model for the phenotypic traits; using the prediction model to output predictions for phenotypic traits for the plurality of chosen plant varieties; using the selection score function to compute selection score values; and selecting at least one plant variety to be cultivated in the target area from the plurality of chosen plant varieties, based the computed selection score values of the plurality of chosen plant varieties.

  • Patent number: 10665323
Abstract: A novel method to predict toxicity and dose-dependent effects of an agent based on transcriptomic data analysis, by determining a predictive toxicogenomics space (PTGS) score. The PTGS score helps to predict and model the toxicity of compounds typically consisting of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and agrochemicals. The invention further comprises methods of deriving the PTGS score, as well as computer programs to calculate PTGS scores.

  • Publication number: 20180082017
Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods and apparatus for generating criteria for information retrieval tasks. A quantifying unit is trained through machine learning to assign relevance values to functional brain imaging potentials measured from a person. This quantifying unit is then used when the person performs an information retrieval task by reading a primary document. The quantifying unit assigns relevance values to text items viewed by the person in the primary document. Based on these relevance values a criterion is generated for the information retrieval task, and potentially relevant secondary documents are retrieved from a document database based on whether or not, or to what extent, they meet this criterion.

  • Patent number: 9798780
Abstract: A search system configured to predict further search intents of a user and to perform exploratory further searches and produce a number of search features and associated relevances and divergence quantifiers for displaying by user equipment at least two-dimensional so as to allow the user to identify relationship of various diverging search terms and to rapidly direct the searching towards information the existence of which may have been previously unknown to the user. Some of the search features can be concealed and shown to the user only if the user magnifies the corresponding area on a display showing the search features returned by the search engine. Files matching to varying degree with the present and predicted further searches are shown to the user with respective lists of search features.
