The panel is made of a flexible material that biases the panel to a flat state. The panel includes an aperture between the front surface and the back surface. The unit further includes a fastener affixed to the panel at the aperture, the fastener including a first piece and a second piece joinable to the first piece through the aperture to affix the fastener to the panel. The fastener further includes a magnet disposed between the first piece and the second piece to engage the fastener with an oppositely facing fastener of the modular construction set.

Abstract: A painting pail system includes a bucket, a bucket support, and a brace for the support. The bucket has an open top. The open top has a rod mounted thereacross. The support may be a U-shaped support having a pair of arms extending from a base, where the base is mounted to the substantially vertical brace so as to extend the arms substantially horizontally from the brace. The rod is mounted at its ends to distal ends of the arms, that is, distal from the base. The upper end of the brace includes a pair of mounting hooks spaced apart laterally so as to hook over an upper rung. The brace is elongate and its lower end is adapted to engage against a lower rung. A selectively engageable third hook latches the pair of mounting hooks onto the upper rung. The bucket may be removed from the support by releasing a latch arm mounted on the support.

Abstract: A plasticizer formed by reacting a carboxylic acid with a mixture of two or more alcohols that vary from one another by the number of carbons comprising them. The carboxylic acid used may be a tricarboxylic acid such as citric acid or any other carboxylic acid. Further, the resultant ester formed by reacting the carboxylic acid with the alcohol mixture may be acylated to form a plasticizer having somewhat different characteristics. According to the present invention, a plasticizer formed by any of the processes described herein can be used in conjunction with polymers according to methods well known in the art to increase pliability and plasticity.

Abstract: A deadbolt cover has a hollow housing mountable to a door. A deadbolt actuator knob on the door fits through a hole in the housing so as to be fully contained within the housing. A cover is slidably mountable into snug mating engagement within an opposite second hole in the housing so as to close the housing over the knob. The cover is releasably lockable onto the housing by a locking member mounted to the housing releasably engaging a cooperating female receiver in the cover.

Abstract: A security indicator has a two part telescopic locking bar attached to the handle of a door at one end and to the door or door jamb at the other end through an end piece. The device includes a cup or tube which encases the door handle, preventing use of the handle. The length of the bar is fixed by aligning apertures in each part of the telescopic locking bar to form a continuous aperture, inserting a frangible pin through the continuous aperture and locking the frangible pin in place with a padlock received by a hole in the frangible pin. The pin has a narrow portion which can be broken by relatively little human force. The device requires someone who does not have the key to the padlock on the frangible pin to break the frangible pin to enter a door fixed with the device. A broken pin alerts the occupant that an entry has occurred during his/her absence. A sleeve normally protects the narrow portion but slides easily away to expose the narrow portion when entry is desired.

Abstract: This clearance indicating device has a pivotal rod for contacting an automobile when the latter is driven close to a wall surface. The pivotal rod causes a sliding rod to slide upwards from a support frame. The closer the automobile is positioned to the wall surface the higher the sliding rod will extend upwards from the support frame. Two pivotally mounted cantilever arms are mounted on the support frame. The arms are connected to two ends of a sliding cord coupled to the sliding rod such that the arms will swing upwards in various degrees to indicate the closeness of the automobile to the vertical wall surface.

Abstract: The portable collection bag carrier has two tubular support posts removably mounted on a base board. A T-shaped bracket is mounted on each post. A vertical slot is formed at each end of the horizontal bar member of the T-shaped bracket. A slider member is slidably mounted on the vertical leg member of the T-shaped bracket, and a loop-shaped cable is mounted on the slider member. A collection bag may be removably mounted on the carrier by folding the top rim of the bag to wrap over the horizontal bar member of the T-shaped brackets, and placing the loop-shaped cable over the folded top rim of the bag to engage with the vertical slots. The cable is then tightened by sliding the slider member downwards to secure the bag in place. The base is also provided with a set of wheels and a tow rope to facilitate the carrier from being moved with ease around the work area for filling the bag.

Abstract: Increased stability is imparted to a ladder according to the present invention by providing a load suspension means connected at the upper and lower ends of the ladder for suspending a load in an elevated position disposed inwardly towards the lower end of the ladder from a vertical plane extending from the point of connection of the suspension at the upper end of the ladder.
