  • Publication number: 20240094870
Abstract: Various aspects and embodiments are directed to a streamlined computer device and a graphical user interface that organizes interface elements into views of computer content for presentation to a user. Various views of digital media content permits users to easily and efficiently access various digital media content. Different views are used to provide an interface that is responsive to configurations of the device and responsive to activity being performed by the user. Aspects include permitting the user to maintain and manage digital media content libraries. According to some embodiments, the libraries comprise user digital media content and references digital media content. Functionality provided to a user can be tailored to the type of content displayed, accessed and/or managed. According to various aspects, methods and systems are provided for accessing and managing digital media libraries on a streamlined computing device with a plurality selectable I/O profiles.

  • Publication number: 20170098522
Abstract: A temperature safety resistor assembly includes a hollow shell, a resistor and two conductive components. The resistor is disposed within the shell and at least one of the two conductive components is welded with an end of the resistor by a low temperature solder. An elastic deformation portion is formed on the conductive component and the elastic deformation portion is deformed to accumulate an elastic restoring force. When the current flowing through the conductive component and the resistor is abnormally increased, the temperature of the conductive component is increased till a melting point of the low temperature solder, the solder is melted and the conductive component is bounded from the end of the resistor by the elastic restoring force of the elastic deformation portion so as to cut off the temperature safety resistor assembly and protect the rest of the circuits.

  • Patent number: 8314677
Abstract: An overcurrent protective wire wound resistor has a core, a second contact cap and a resistance wire. A first contact cap and a resistor connection seat are respectively mounted on two ends of a rod of the core. A low melting-point conductive layer is mounted around the rod and connected with the first contact cap and the resistor connection seat. A high-temperature contractive insulation layer is mounted around the low melting-point conductive layer and the first contact cap. The second contact cap is mounted around the contractive insulation layer. The resistance wire is connected to the resistor connection seat and the second contact cap. When current through the resistance wire abnormally increases, high temperature of the resistance wire melts the low melting point conductive layer to shrink the contractive insulation layer and open the low melting-point conductive layer and the resistor, thereby protecting the circuit connected to the resistor.

  • Publication number: 20110267732
Abstract: A circuit protective device has a wire-wound resistor, a fuse and a voltage limiter connected by welding, and may be covered by a protective housing possibly filled with a filling material. The resistor withstands an incoming transient voltage and reduces a surge current through the voltage limiter to realize a more compact and inexpensive voltage limiter without compromising the surge protective capability. The voltage limiter clamps the incoming transient voltage to a specified level. When the wire-wound resistor or the voltage limiter is overheated by to a surge voltage which is higher than the surge voltage withstanding rating of this circuit protective device, either the wire-wound resistor melts down or the fuse opens to disconnect the electronic circuit from the AC mains against subsequent surges. Accordingly, the circuit protective device addresses a cost-saving, compact, robust and safe solution against surge voltages, surge currents and sustained voltages.

  • Publication number: 20100156589
Abstract: A resistor having a body, a fuse component, a resistor component, a wire and a cover. The body has a top, a first positioning hole and a second positioning hole being formed in the top of the body. The fuse component is inserted in the first positioning hole. The resistor component is inserted in the second positioning hole. The wire connects the fuse component and the resistor component and is mounted outside the body. The cover is attached to the top of the body around the wire. Therefore, the body of resistor as described may be dried in an oven without damaging the resistor component. A method having steps of forming a body having two positioning holes, drying the body in an oven heated above 130° C., mounting a resistor component and a fuse component respectively in the positioning holes, and covering the positioning holes with an insulating cover.

  • Patent number: 6195057
Abstract: A submarine antenna assembly comprises a tubular body having a removable end cap, a mast stowable in the body and extendible therefrom and having elements mounted thereon, a penetrator stowable in the body and movable therefrom by the mast upon removal of the end cap, the penetrator being adapted to bore through an ice layer, and an inflatable ring stowable in the body and movable therefrom by the mast upon the removal of the end cap. First and second capsules are in the body for retaining and releasing gas, the first capsule being adapted upon opening thereof to pressurize the body to blow off the end cap to permit movement of the mast, the ring, and penetrator out of body, and the second capsule being adapted to inflate the ring to hold the penetrator in engagement with an undersurface of the ice layer. An electronics assembly is disposed in the body and includes message retention and transmitting means in communication with the mast, and timer means in communication with the capsules.
