  • Publication number: 20240325815
Abstract: A weightlifting system includes a frame with lower, middle, and upper pulley stations mounted therein. A load attachment structure is provided within the system. A cable-pulley system includes a plurality of fixed pulleys mounted to the frame, first and second moveable pulleys, and a floating load pulley mounted to the load attachment structure. A plurality of cables is collectively routed through the first and second movable pulleys, the plurality of fixed pulleys, the floating load pulley, and the lower, middle, and upper pulley stations. When a first pulling force is applied to a first cable end accessible from the lower pulley station, the first movable pulley and the load pulley translate. When a second pulling force is applied to a second cable end accessible from the upper pulley station, the second movable pulley and the load pulley translate. When a third pulling force is applied to a third cable end accessible from the middle pulley station, only the load pulley translates.

  • Publication number: 20240066350
Abstract: An adjustable bench includes a frame and a hinge. A back support is pivotably coupled to the hinge and has a back cushion. A seat support has a first end defining apertures, a second end pivotably coupled to the hinge, and a seat cushion. A leg support is pivotably coupled to the first end at a pivot point defining a rotation axis for the leg support. The leg support is selectively engageable with one of the apertures via a pin. In a first configuration, the pin also engages with the leg support to define a fixed angular position of the leg support relative to the seat support. In a second configuration, the pin is engaged with one of the apertures without capturing the leg support such that the pin defines a rotational stop for the leg support and the leg support is movable at least partially around the rotational axis.

  • Publication number: 20240066351
Abstract: An adjustable bench includes a bench frame, a seat support pivotably coupled to the bench frame at a pivot, and an adjustment mechanism. The adjustment mechanism includes an adjustment frame coupled to the seat support and defining a plurality of openings. A seat plate of the mechanism is coupled to a seat cushion. An adjustment pin is coupled to the seat plate and selectively engageable with the plurality of openings. A bearing is coupled to the seat plate and is slidably engaged with a rail coupled to the adjustment frame.

  • Publication number: 20230398398
Abstract: An exercise device includes a substantially U-shaped bar having an interface at each end. A leg secured to each interface includes a pair of tapered projections extending from the interface. The leg defines a leg opening. A plate-support post secured to each interface includes a first, plate-receiving end extending away from the interface and second end disposed within the interface and defining a threaded bore. A handle unit is removably secured proximate each interface and includes a handle base at least partially defining a handle opening and a pair of receivers. A screw removably secures each handle unit to the leg proximate each interface and extends into the handle and leg openings and is threadably received in the threaded bore. When the screw is received in the threaded bore, each of the pair of receivers receives one of the pair of tapered projections.

  • Publication number: 20230264069
Abstract: An adjustable bench includes a frame, a back support frame pivotably secured to the frame, a back support pad secured to the back support frame, a back arcuate assembly connected to the back support frame and defining a plurality of back arcuate assembly apertures, and a back adjustment pin fixed to the frame. The back adjustment pin includes a plunger that may move between a projected position and a retracted position. In the projected position, the plunger may project into one of the plurality of back arcuate assembly apertures. Pivoting the back support frame in a first direction engages an angled first end of the plunger with one of the back arcuate assembly apertures and deflects the plunger towards the retracted position. Restraining the plunger in the retracted position enables pivoting the back support frame in a second direction.

  • Publication number: 20230218944
Abstract: An exercise system includes a base structure including a first cross brace including first cross brace mounting plates disposed at each end of the first cross brace. A pair of base guide rail supports is secured to and extended substantially orthogonal from the first cross brace and includes a pair of base guide rail receivers. A pair of base pulley supports is secured to and extended substantially orthogonal from the first cross brace and further includes a pulley-support pulley housing. A pair of pulley-support pulleys is rotatably secured to the pulley-support pulley housing. A second cross brace includes a central portion substantially parallel to the first cross brace. The central portion is secured to the pair of base guide rail supports and the pair of base pulley supports. Two end portions are disposed at an angle to the central portion and terminate at second cross brace mounting plates disposed at each end of the two end portions and two central-portion pulley housings.
