  • Patent number: 10284573
Abstract: One or more embodiments of techniques or systems for session management, security scoring, and friction management are provided herein. Sessions may be monitored for commonalties or other attributes or aspects and closed, terminated, or a freeze placed on additional sessions from being initiated. A security score may be provided which is indicative of how secure a user is with respect to one or more ways the user interacts with a resource. One or more suggested actions or score improvement strategies may be suggested to facilitate improvement of a security score for a user. Friction management may be provided by having one or more additional layers of security applied to an account of a user or an entity based on suspicious behavior or other factors.

  • Publication number: 20180106717
Abstract: A process for measuring a size distribution of a plurality of nucleic acid molecules, the process comprising: labeling the nucleic acid molecules with a fluorescent dye comprising a plurality of fluorescent dye molecules to form labeled nucleic acid molecules, such that a number of fluorescent dyes molecules attached to each nucleic acid molecule is reliably proportional to the number of base pairs in the nucleic acid molecule, the fluorescent dye molecules having a first florescence spectrum; producing, by the labeled nucleic acid molecules, the first florescence spectrum in response to irradiating the labeled nucleic acid molecules at the first wavelength; and detecting the first florescence spectrum to measure the size distribution of the plurality of nucleic acid molecules.

  • Publication number: 20180068640
Abstract: A graphics processing system includes a graphics processing pipeline including at least an initial processing stage and a further processing stage. Data for a scene at a first resolution and data for the scene at a second resolution are processed in the initial processing stage. After processing data for the scene at the first and second resolutions in the initial processing stage, gaze-tracking data relating to a current positioning of at least one eye of a user of a virtual reality user device is received. At least one sub-region of the scene is identified from the gaze-tracking data. Data for the scene at the first resolution and only data corresponding to the identified at least one sub-region of the scene at the second resolution are processed in the further processing stage. The scene is rendered by combining the data for the scene processed in the further processing stage.

  • Publication number: 20170316601
Abstract: When performing foveated rendering, a graphics processor is controlled to render plural, e.g. three, different resolution versions from the same viewpoint for a scene. The rendered different resolution images are then appropriately combined (composited) to provide the output “foveated” image (output frame) that is displayed. The geometry for the scene is processed and sorted into lists for respective rendering tiles of the images being rendered only once, to provide a single set of tile geometry lists that are then used in common when rendering each respective resolution image.

  • Patent number: 8971193
Abstract: An internet telephony call analyzer receives call information from endpoint and intermediate network devices, corrects timestamp errors in the records, stores the records, and identifies records associated with a single call session between two endpoint devices in the network. The timestamp errors may be corrected by applying a time differential correction to a call start timestamp and call stop timestamp of the record if the timestamp in the record differs from a system timestamp when the record was received by the call analyzer. Call information records associated with the same call session may be matched by identifying records with the same SIP call ID, the same SSRC ID and call start timestamps within a predetermined time interval of each other.

  • Patent number: 8612072
Abstract: The system herein disclosed automatically detects whether an engine control unit instance number of a multi-engine marine vessel needs changing. Each engine control unit is electronically paired with a respective servo controller. A vessel controller is in communication with the servo controllers. The vessel controller commands in turn each servo controller to switch on its paired engine control unit, read the instance number of its paired engine control unit, switch off its paired engine control unit, and convey the instance number back to the vessel controller. The vessel controller then compares the instance numbers of the engine control units. If at least two instance numbers of the engine control units are duplicates of each other, the vessel controller ascertains that at least one of the instance numbers of the engine control units needs to be changed and assigns a new instance number to one of the engine control units.
