Abstract: Method and systems for adjusting a panel based on a vehicle's proximity to an upcoming maneuver within a navigation user interface (UI) and the presence of mapping data within a display region of a UI layer (e.g., a media UI or a call UI). Processing circuitry may modify access to the UI layer until after the vehicle completes the maneuver or, if the UI layer is already in view, hide the UI layer while the vehicle executes the maneuver.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include systems, vehicles, and methods to present an option to visit an attraction and to present information about the attraction. In an illustrative embodiment, a computing system operates according to instructions that cause the computing system to: monitor a position of the computing system; present via a visual interface a map including at least one first route; identify via the visual interface at least one attraction situated within a range of the at least one first route; in response to a request to add a visit to the at least one attraction, determine at least one second route from the position to the at least one attraction; present the at least one second route on the map; generate navigational information according to the at least one second route; and when within a predetermined vicinity of the at least one attraction, present information about the at least one attraction.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include systems, vehicles, and methods for tracking off-road travel. In an illustrative embodiment, a system includes a computing device having computer-readable media storing computer-executable instructions configured to cause the computing device to monitor a vehicle location. The vehicle location is identified on map data for an area encompassing the location and including road data for recognized roads in the area. Off-road travel is detected in response to determining that the vehicle location is outside of the recognized roads. Travel data is recorded representing the off-road travel of the vehicle.
