A method includes converting at least one first DisplayPort transfer unit into at least one a network packet capable of being transmitted via a data network. The network packet may be transmitted via the data network and converted into at least one second DisplayPort transfer unit. The at least one second DisplayPort transfer unit may then be routed to a display device for display.
