  • Patent number: 11982162
Abstract: The present invention is related to a downhole device for hydrocarbon producing wells without conventional tubing (tubingless completion), which improves the hydrocarbon production (gas, oil and condensate), selectively controls produced solids (reservoir sand and hydraulic fracture proppant) and eliminates liquid loading. The device of the present invention is designed according to selected well and reservoir characteristics by an integral methodology which includes the stages: data collection and analysis of the well operating conditions, selection of candidate well, sampling and analysis of produced solids, simulation of production conditions, design and manufacture and installation.

  • Publication number: 20240122580
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for intraluminal ultrasound imaging are provided. An intraluminal ultrasound imaging system may include a patient interface module (PIM) in communication with an intraluminal device comprising an ultrasound imaging component and positioned within a body lumen of a patient. The PIM may receive ultrasound echo signals from the intraluminal device, transmit the ultrasound echo signals along a differential signal path, and digitize the ultrasound echo signals. The PIM may transmit the ultrasound wirelessly to a processing system. The PIM may be powered with a wireless charging system, such as an inductive charging system.

  • Patent number: 9528802
Abstract: An indirect fire munition non-lethal cargo carrier mortar deploys non-lethal sub-munitions to an intended target. The cargo carrier mortar includes a deceleration system which allows for the discarded mortar to descend at a controlled non-free fall velocity thereby minimizing the risk of injury or collateral damage from the mortar. The cargo carrier mortar is adapted to be compatible with existing standard military equipment such as standard mortar caliber sizes.

  • Patent number: 8759486
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to polypeptides whose primary sequence has high sequence homology with human interleukin 2 (IL-2) with some punctual mutations in the sequence of native IL-2. The polypeptides of the present invention have an immunomodulatory effect on the immune system, which is selective/preferential on regulatory T cells. The present invention also relates to specific polypeptides whose amino acid sequence is disclosed herein. In another aspect the present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising as active ingredient the polypeptides disclosed. Finally, the present invention relates to the therapeutic use of the polypeptides and pharmaceutical compositions disclosed due to their immune modulating effect on diseases such as cancer and chronic infectious diseases.

  • Patent number: 6873672
Abstract: The method involves measuring hydrogen permeation in the tubes by mass spectrometry, wherein the tube is inserted into a high or ultrahigh vacuum device in which a mass spectrometer and a total pressure gauge are located. H2 or H2 and inert gas mixtures are circulated inside the tube at the required partial pressure. The tube is then heated and the appearance of H2 outside the tube is observed. The flow thereof inside the tube and emergence time, called permeation time, are determined based on permeation curves. The emergence time of the first microcrack is also determined.
