A splice holder device (180) includes a first splice channel and second splice channel. Each splice channel includes one or more flexible arms spaced along a length of the splice channel to provide a resistance against a housing of the splice. Also, each channel includes one or more base supports and one or more upper stops. The flexible arms extend from a channel wall at an angle to provide force components in orthogonal directions.
