Abstract: A connected household appliance may include one or more sub-control boards that may each include a memory having an appliance identifier corresponding to the connected household appliance stored therein. The connected household appliance may include a main control board in operative communication with the one or more sub-control board. The main control board may be operable for: transmitting one or more read requests to the one or more sub-control boards, obtaining the appliance identifier from each memory of the one or more sub-control boards in response to transmitting the read request, and implementing a target device software corresponding to an external device based on the appliance identifiers obtained.
