  • Patent number: 10315256
Abstract: A magnetized item retention assembly comprising at least one magnetized element at least partially embedded with a formed non-magnetic body adapted for integration or attachment to a power tool or portable power pack for the power tool. The magnetized element(s) are placed and retained within cavities formed within an interior of the body. The body can be fabricated as a unitary molded component or an assembly comprising a plurality of molded components. The multiple part design would include an assembly step for joining the separate components. The magnetized element(s) are used to temporarily retain magnetic objects, such as screws, drill bits, driver bits, etc. The body can have a planar shape, an inverted ā€œUā€ shape, or any other suitable shape. The assembly can be attached to the drill using any suitable adhesive. The legs of the inverted ā€œUā€ shape protect the objects, while supporting the tool when not in use.

  • Patent number: 9573197
Abstract: A magnetized material is affixed to an exterior of a drill housing of a portable power drill or a battery pack used for providing power to the portable power drill. The magnetized material is employed to retain magnetic objects. The magnetized material can be provided in a planar sheet or upon a three-dimensionally shaped form. In a sheet configuration, the magnetized object retention panel is defined by a magnetized surface and an opposite, attachment surface. A series of grooves can be formed within the magnetized material enabling conformation of the sheet to a non-planar surface on the drill or battery pack. The three-dimensionally shaped form can be provided as a channel having at least one channel sidewall extending generally perpendicular from an edge of a channel basewall terminating at a base surface. Inclusion of a pair of sidewalls provides a planar supporting surface for standing the drill upright.

  • Patent number: 8978259
Abstract: A laser guidance docking system utilizes a guidance laser to emit and direct a laser beam towards a dock upper surface. A target marking or reference is located on the dock upper surface. A laser illuminated marking is created at the contact point of the laser beam upon the dock upper surface. The target marking is located at a longitudinal position along a length of the dock upper surface, wherein the target marking provides a reference to properly position the vessel at a longitudinal position along the dock. The laser guidance docking system can be enhanced by integrated a camera, a vertical dimension measurement device, and a laser vertical angle reference device. Information regarding the positional relationship between the laser illuminated marking and the target marking can be presented on a remote video display. The system can include a computing device to adapt for a vertical offset of the laser.

  • Publication number: 20100003655
Abstract: The present invention provides for a toilet training aid that is temporarily applied inside an existing toilet bowl or urinal in order to help teach male toddlers (or any age) to aim their stream of urine inside the toilet bowl or urinal. The toilet training aid is uniquely designed help keep male toddlers concentration by giving the toddler a target to aim at in the toilet bowl or urinal while allowing him to work on his hand and eye coordination of hitting the target in the toilet bowl or urinal. Thus the toilet training aid expedites the process of teaching male toddlers to control their stream of urine into the toilet bowl or urinal while making it a positive experience.

  • Publication number: 20090107384
Abstract: The present invention provides a fender system that is applied to a dock piling or solid faced bulkhead in order to prevent damage to a marine vessel while the vessel is moored to a fixed or floating dock, or dock piling, or solid faced bulkhead. The fender is designed to uniquely rise and fall with the level of the tide such that the fender is always in the most suitable position for protecting the vessel's hull from coming into direct contact with the piling or bulkhead. Thus, this system is useful in waters in which there is a constant ebb and flow of the tide and is especially useful in areas experiencing a storm surge.
