  • Patent number: 11953888
Abstract: A production cell includes: at least one robot arranged to handle products; at least one buffer area for intermediate storage of products inside the production cell; a vision system with cameras arranged to determine, based on images from the cameras, the identity and the location of objects in the production cell a plurality of production modules, each production module comprising at least one Hardware Module configured to process products; and a plurality of module attachment locations, each module attachment location being configured to connect with an interface section of a production module through at least a physical connection and a power connection.

  • Patent number: 5036611
Abstract: A weapon housing for a firing weapon including a front portion and a rear portion in which the front and rear portions are spaced apart by means of a plurality of bands. The weapon barrel is carried by the front portion and the firing device is carried by the rear portion. Cartridge chambers are fed laterally to the weapon housing. The bands which connect the front and rear portions of the housing, preferably, are fiber bands.

  • Patent number: 4898069
Abstract: For feeding cartridges from a stationary container to a firing weapon having an elevation adjustability or control, it is necessary to provide means for deflecting cartridges according to the weapon's elevation. It is common practice to use either plate channel arrangements or flexible cartridge feed channels as a deflecting mechanism, both of which however, are afflicted with serious shortcomings. According to this invention, the deflecting mechanism involves a helical cartridge feed channel which is attached to the firing weapon and which comprises an infeed aperture or opening where cartridges are coaxially aligned with respect to the elevation axis and an outfeed aperture or opening where cartridges are in essentially parallel alignment with the weapon barrel axis.

  • Patent number: 4890537
Abstract: In a firing weapon with an elevatable weapon barrel, it must be possible to fix or lock the weapon barrel in each desired position. For this purpose, known firing weapons are equipped with braking devices in which large frictional forces occur, thereby making it necessary to use servo-mechanisms. In accordance with the invention, the elevation of the weapon barrel is fixed or locked by means of a cylinder and a piston. The piston comprises a closeable through-passage opening through which a pressure medium flows, as long as the through-passage opening is open between a chamber located on one side or face of the piston into an other chamber located on the other side or face of the piston. The through-passage opening is closeable for fixing or locking the weapon barrel at a predeterminate elevation.

  • Patent number: 4669355
Abstract: The disc-type ammunition channel contains a predetermined number of discs or lamellae arranged adjacent one another and which can be rotated in a substantially cylindrical housing. The diameter of the discs or lamellae and of the cylindrical housing is smaller than the length of the cartridges to be passed therethrough. The tip ends of the projectiles of the cartridges protrude from the discs or lamellae into a housing member which is formed by two substantially helically shaped walls and a substantially cylindrical wall. Rotation of the discs or lamellae as a function of the elevation of the firing weapon is insured by a rod which is secured at one of its ends to a stationary housing member and at the other one of its ends to an elevatable housing member by means of rubber joints. The rod extends through elongated or oblong slots provided in the discs.

  • Patent number: 4610191
Abstract: The ammunition container is subdivided by partition walls into individual compartments. Such containers must be structured in such a manner that a cartridge belt can be easily laterally withdrawn from the container at the top thereof. For this purpose there are provided partition walls which are formed by a stationary rigid partition wall portion and a pivotable spring-type or resilient partition wall portion. The two partition wall portions are interconnected by a resilient member, such as a spring plate or leaf. Furthermore, the distance between the spring plates or leaves and the base member or floor of the container continually increases from one partition wall to the next-following partition wall in the direction towards the discharge or outlet opening of the ammunition container.
