  • Publication number: 20240106701
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for automatically provisioning customer-specific credentials on a gateway device, Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), or the like. A method, according to one implementation, includes the step of determining when a remote gateway device is connected to a Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) server via a network. The remote gateway device is intended to enable one or more user devices in a Local Area Network (LAN) to access the Internet via the network and PPPoE server. The method also includes the step of automatically configuring customer-specific PPPoE credentials on the remote gateway device to thereby enable the PPPoE server to authenticate the remote gateway device and grant Internet access.

  • Patent number: 8888684
Abstract: A medical device, for example, an endoscope or catheter, includes local drug delivery capabilities for selectively delivering at least one drug in vivo. The local drug delivery may occur as the medical device is advanced through tortuous passageways of the patient's body or may occur after the medical device has reached its targeted destination. The medical device includes a drug agent, for example, carried in or on a hydrophilic or hydrogel coating disposed on the outside thereof. When the hydrogel or drug agent receives an appropriate signal, e.g., solution containing a triggering agent or triggering condition, e.g., heat or light, the hydrogel contracts or expands to squeeze out the drug from hydrogel. If electric current is provided as the signal, and the drug agent is charged, the drug agent is released by electrophoretic forces.

  • Publication number: 20100275224
Abstract: An interactive device/system of and method for delivery, receipt and/or decoding of and/or response to keyed or tagged video content provided in connection with one or more video broadcasts (for example, television or streaming video). Responsive thereto, the system and method may deliver and/or receive video and/or audio information. Such delivery and/or receipt of video and/or audio information may be responsive to content embedded in the broadcast but not visually observed, responsive to broadcast content that is visually observed and then parsed and correlated with a predetermined response, and responsive to a user/operator instruction, input and/or request. The interactive video receiving device may determine a video-based broadcast is an interactive video-based broadcast, wherein, the device automatically provides interaction options and or based on a response by the user/viewer to the video-based broadcast, the video receiving device transmits “interest-level” data (i.e.

  • Patent number: 7508451
Abstract: Phase noise mitigation in an analog video receiver implemented in an integrated circuit device. A phase correction value that indicates a phase offset between a synthesized sinusoid and a reference sinusoid conveyed in a horizontal retrace region of a composite video signal is periodically generated. A phase error that will accumulate during an interval between horizontal retrace regions of the composite video signal is estimated based, at least in part, on the phase correction value, and the phase of a chroma signal component of the composite video signal is adjusted based on the estimated phase error.

  • Publication number: 20080260044
Abstract: A multichannel video receiver having an analog-to-digital converter, fast-Fourier transform circuit and inverse-Fourier transform circuit. The analog-to-digital converter circuit generates a digitized representation of a frequency band used to convey a plurality of video signals, and the fast-Fourier transform circuit generates a frequency-domain representation of the digitized representation of the frequency band. The inverse-Fourier transform circuit recovers, from the frequency-domain representation, a plurality of digitized time-domain signals that correspond to the plurality of video signals.
