  • Publication number: 20240034220
Abstract: A modular vehicle accessory mounting system which includes one or more extruded rails designed to attach along a edge of the installation vehicle, one or more modular accessory modules that attach to the extruded rail as well as one or more communication modules that provide power to the accessory modules and serves as a communication bridge between the system and the vehicle or outside world. Generally speaking, these components may be structured to provide a low-profile mounting system for auxiliary illumination and other accessories along the edges of vehicles.

  • Publication number: 20230339419
Abstract: A lighting system including one or more loads and one or more load managers electrically coupled to or embedded in the one or more loads. The one or more load managers are configured to measure an input voltage from the one or more loads, determine if the input voltage is below a minimum voltage for the lighting system, when the input voltage is below the minimum voltage threshold, adjust a power level of the lighting system, and when the input voltage is above a minimum voltage, store the power level as an operational power for the lighting system.

  • Publication number: 20230339386
Abstract: A coordinated multi-vehicle lighting system includes a remote coordination system and at least two vehicles. Each vehicle has a light installation that includes a front light, a rear light, a navigation module, and a controller in operable communication with the front light, the rear light, and the navigation module. Location data from the navigation module is provided to the remote coordination system, and the remote coordination system determines a status for each vehicle by comparing the location data from the vehicle to the location data from each of the other vehicles. The remote coordination system transmits the status of each vehicle to the controller of that vehicle. For each vehicle, the controller is programmed to selectively reduce an illumination of the front light and of the rear light according to the status of the vehicle.
