  • Publication number: 20230251375
Abstract: A transducer assembly comprises a housing and a plurality of frequency steered transducer array elements. Each of the transducer array elements includes a plurality of piezoelectric elements. The frequency steered transducer array elements are configured to receive a transmit electronic signal including a plurality of frequency components and to transmit an array of sonar beams into a body of water. Each sonar beam is transmitted in an angular direction that varies according to one of the frequency components of the transmit electronic signal. The frequency steered transducer array elements are positioned within the housing in a fan-shaped configuration where an end section of at least two of the frequency steered transducer array elements are within an intersection range of each other.

  • Publication number: 20230174197
Abstract: A camera mounting system for a vehicle. The camera mounting system comprises a base mount configured to be coupled with an exterior surface of the vehicle. The base mount includes an interior space. The camera mounting system additionally comprises a sub-housing received within the interior space of the base mount. The sub-housing is configured to rotate within the base mount. The camera mounting system additionally comprises a camera configured to be removably mounted to the sub-housing. As such, when the camera is mounted to the sub-housing, the camera is configured to rotate in conjunction with the sub-housing. The camera mounting system additionally comprises at least one damper configured to permit a position of the camera to translate toward the sub-housing in response to an external object impacting the camera. The camera mounting system further comprises at least one attitude sensor configured to sense an orientation of the camera.

  • Publication number: 20200072953
Abstract: A transducer assembly comprises a housing, a frequency steered transducer array element positioned within the housing, a conical transducer element positioned within the housing, and a scanning transducer element positioned within the housing. The frequency steered transducer array element includes a plurality of piezoelectric elements and is configured to receive a transmit electronic signal including a plurality of frequency components and to transmit an array of sonar beams into a body of water, each sonar beam transmitted in an angular direction that varies according to one of the frequency components of the transmit electronic signal. The conical transducer element is configured to transmit a conically-shaped sonar beam into the body of water. The scanning transducer element is configured to transmit a fan-shaped sonar beam into the body of water.

  • Patent number: 9923288
Abstract: An Ethernet cable assembly including a cable with nine elongated conductors, a first connector and a second connector located on opposing ends of the cable, and a coupler for electrically coupling with one or both of the connectors. The connectors may each include nine pin receptacles electrically coupled with one of the elongated conductors. The nine receptacles may be arranged with one center receptacle surrounded by eight outer receptacles, symmetrically arranged about a line of symmetry passing through the center receptacle, such that when identical first or second connectors of another cable faces one of the first and second connectors, complementary crossover pairs of the receptacles match up with positive receptacles matching positive receptacles and negative receptacles matching negative receptacles. To couple these identical Ethernet connectors with each other, the coupler may have pins simply passing from one side of the coupler housing to another, without any crossover hardware required therein.
