  • Publication number: 20100243972
Abstract: The present invention is related to a method to obtain reactive [18F] fluorides in an organic medium suitable for radiolabelling without any azeotropic evaporation step, by the use of a solid phase extraction column containing a modified non-ionic solid support.
    Type: Application
    Filed: April 22, 2008
    Publication date: September 30, 2010
Applicants: Trasis S.A., Universite de Liege

  • Publication number: 20100196254
Abstract: A method to extract out of an aqueous solution, concentrate and/or reformulate [18F] fluorides without any evaporation step wherein the eluting solution is a organic solution having a water content <3%. The solution contains at least: an organic solvent suitable for the subsequent radiolabelling reaction; a first compound (A) which is a molecule containing at least one acidic hydrogen and a second compound (B) which is an organic base sufficiently strong to be able to tear off the acidic hydrogen of the first compound (A) in an acid-base reaction leading to the formation of an organic salt (S).
    Type: Application
    Filed: July 1, 2008
    Publication date: August 5, 2010
Applicants: TRASIS S.A., UNIVERSITE DE LIEGE

  • Publication number: 20100069600
Abstract: A method to extract out of water, concentrate and reformulate [18F] fluorides includes passing a dilute aqueous [18F] fluoride solution entering by an inlet (1) in a cavity (6) embodying an electrochemical cell with at least two electrodes (3, 4, 5), flowing in the cavity (6) and coming out of the cavity (6) by an outlet (2), an external voltage being applied to the electrodes. One electrode (4) is used as an extraction electrode, another one (3) is used for polarizing the solution, and configured so that at least the extraction electrode (4), either used as a cathode or as an anode, is in contact with and polarizes a large specific surface area conducting material (7), contained in the cavity (6). The extracted ions are released from the surface of the large specific surface area conducting material (7) by turning off the applied external voltage.

  • Publication number: 20090020431
Abstract: Electrografting method for forming and regulating a strongly adherent nanostructured polymer coating onto an electro-conductive surface profile characterized in that the surface profile is regulated by electrodeposition of nanometre- and/or micrometre-scale nuclei onto the surface profile prior to or simultaneously to the formation of the polymer coating.
    Type: Application

    Publication date: January 22, 2009

  • Publication number: 20040144655
Abstract: Process for depositing by electrografting a strong adherent polymer coating onto an electrically conductive surface comprising the step of electrochemical grafting of an active monomer for forming a primer coating P onto the surface and having as general formula: X0 (meth)acrylate wherein X is either part of a preformed polymer or is an intermediate agent for polyaddition reaction or is an anchoring group for attachment of a molecule having at least one complementary reactive group. Such process allows formation of new primer by one-step electro-grafting of a macromonomer. Such process also allows further modification of an initial electrografted polymer to increase the coating thickness by the grafting-from technique. Such process also allows to graft onto the primer coating compounds like functional polymer, peptide, protein, oligonucleotide, dyes, drugs, anti-bacterian compounds.
