Abstract: Functionality is disclosed herein for integrating a program code marketplace and a service provider network. A program code marketplace system is configured to provide a program code marketplace through which developers or other users can list program code for sale. Program code offered through the program code marketplace may have an associated execution environment definition that defines an execution environment for the program code. A request may be received to deploy program code available through the program code marketplace to a service provider network for execution. In response thereto, the execution environment definition may be utilized to create an execution environment in the service provider network. The program code may then be deployed to the execution environment in the service provider network for execution. The program code marketplace may integrate with other systems, such as a payments system, for processing micropayments for program code available through the program code marketplace.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for progressively providing content of an electronic book (e-book) to members of a book reading group. An example method includes: determining a reading group associated with content, the reading group comprising a first user profile associated with a first user device, a second user profile associated with a second user device, an indication that the first user profile is designated as a group administrator; determining a first stop-position indicative of a first position in the content; determining a second stop-position indicative of a second position in the content; and sending, to the first user device and the second user device, a message comprising at least the first stop-position, and instructions to enable access to a first section, wherein the first section comprises a portion of the content preceding the first stop-position.

Abstract: Technology is provided for data set scoring. In one example, a method includes analyzing first and second characteristics of a data set. The first and second characteristics represent a quality of data values in the data set. At least the first characteristic is independent of the data values in the data set. The method further includes assigning a score to the data set based on the first and second characteristics. The data set may be ranked against a plurality of other data sets based on the score. The score of the data set may be provided together with a scoring scale to enable a determination of the quality of the data values based on the score.

Abstract: A system can include a schema for cross referencing independent yet related services. The schema can utilize reference properties and resource properties to partition data is separate services and allow for services to be added or removed without affecting the integrity of existing services. Embodiments described herein also avoid the need for complex transaction logic to maintain consistency between services. In some embodiments, the services can also utilize different database management systems.

Abstract: A processing device receives data associated with consumer interactions with an electronic work. The processing device determines, based on the received data, a plurality of aggregated consumption behaviors with regards to the electronic work. The processing device associates one or more of the plurality of aggregated consumption behaviors with portions of the electronic work in a data file. The processing device then provides the data file to a user device.
