  • Patent number: 12261879
Abstract: A system for detecting Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks on one or more user profiles collects a number of invalid sign-on attempts on the one or more user profiles during every time interval. The system determines a number of invalid sign-on attempts on every user profile since the start of the first time interval. The system detects a first DoS attack on a particular user profile if a first number of invalid sign-on attempts on the particular user profile exceeds a single-user profile. The system detects a second DoS attack on multiple user profiles during the first time interval if the increase in the total number of invalid sign-on attempts since the last time interval exceeds a scan-level threshold number. The system detects a third DoS attack on multiple user profiles if the total number of invalid sign-on attempts detected during combined time intervals exceeds a third threshold number.

  • Publication number: 20250077549
Abstract: Graphic visualizations, such as charts or graphs conveying data attribute values, can be generated based on natural language queries, i.e., natural language requests. To do so, a natural language request is parsed into n-grams, and from the n-grams, word embeddings are determined using a natural language model. Data attributes for the graphic visualization are discovered in the vector space from the word embeddings. The type of graphic visualization can be determined based on a request intent, which is determined using a trained intent classifier. The graphic visualization is generated to include the data attribute values of the discovered data attributes, and in accordance with the graphic visualization type.

  • Publication number: 20250069334
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to providing assisted scene capture for an artificial reality (XR) environment. Some implementations can obtain an XR space model corresponding to a real-world space, including walls, the ceiling, and the floor, using an XR system. Some implementations can then scan the real-world space and display a mesh corresponding to the scanned area overlaid onto a view of the real-world space. Some implementations can perform post-processing on the displayed mesh, which can include A) collapsing variations in the mesh corresponding to the walls, ceiling, or floor onto the XR space model; B) clipping the mesh to the XR space model for open doorways, windows, etc.; C) simplifying the mesh corresponding to the walls, ceiling, or floor; D) determining that the mesh is complete by identifying that a threshold percentage of the XR space model is covered by the mesh; or any combination thereof.

  • Patent number: 12235353
Abstract: In various examples, a hazard detection system fuses outputs from multiple sensors over time to determine a probability that a stationary object or hazard exists at a location. The system may then use sensor data to calculate a detection bounding shape for detected objects and, using the bounding shape, may generate a set of particles, each including a confidence value that an object exists at a corresponding location. The system may then capture additional sensor data by one or more sensors of the ego-machine that are different from those used to capture the first sensor data. To improve the accuracy of the confidences of the particles, the system may determine a correspondence between the first sensor data and the additional sensor data (e.g., depth sensor data), which may be used to filter out a portion of the particles and improve the depth predictions corresponding to the object.

  • Publication number: 20250028774
Abstract: A method may determine that first content in a first tab of a browser is associated with a first entity of an entity type and determine that second content in a second tab of the browser is associated with a second entity of the entity type. Responsive to determining that the first tab is associated with the first entity of the entity type and that the second tab is associated with the second entity of the entity type, a method may generate information used to provide a user interface for displaying first information for the first entity and second information for the second entity.

  • Patent number: 12206163
Abstract: An electronic device may have a cover layer and an antenna. A dielectric adapter may have a first surface coupled to the antenna and a second surface pressed against the cover layer. The cover layer may have a three-dimensional curvature. The second surface may have a curvature that matches the curvature of the cover layer. Biasing structures may exert a biasing force that presses the antenna against the dielectric adapter and that presses the dielectric adapter against the cover layer. The biasing force may be oriented in a direction normal to the cover layer at each point across dielectric adapter. This may serve to ensure that a uniform and reliable impedance transition is provided between the antenna and free space through the cover layer over time, thereby maximizing the efficiency of the antenna.

  • Publication number: 20220346726
Abstract: A shift compliance management system manages user compliance with recommendations for shift weight exercises to mitigate risk of a wheelchair user developing pressure ulcers. A sensing device includes an array of pressure sensors to sense the user's weight distribution and to detect timing and duration of weight shifts performed by the user. The sensing device communicates with a user application that assesses a compliance level of the sensed weight shifts with a set of weight shift recommendations for the patient. A compliance server collects patient data and may perform various analytics related to compliance. The analytical data may be presented to the wheelchair user and/or a caretaker to indicate compliance adherence.

  • Publication number: 20100253016
Abstract: A collet adapter includes a spindle adapter body configured to removably mount to a non-collet-ready spindle of a machine (e.g., a lathe or machining center). The spindle adapter body has a collet seat configured to mate with a collet. The adapter also includes an adapter collar configured to removably mount to the spindle adapter. When the collar is mounted to the adapter body, it facilitates secure attachment of a device with a spindle mount to the machine via an enlarged mounting shoulder of the collar. The collar can be removed to provide improved radial access to a work piece being held by the spindle adapter body and a non-step collet.
