The base includes anchoring apertures defined therein that are configured to receive anchoring mechanisms therethrough, such as stakes, pins, and other earth anchors that can secure within a ground surface. As such, the base of the combined apparatus is securable to a ground surface. In addition, the base includes a plurality of holder receipts that receive and retain the holder units. Each holder unit is designed to receive and retain an object, such as an assembled or disassembled fishing rod, therein. In addition, the holder units are designed to be secured to each other via cable ties. As such, one or more fishing rods can be secured within the combined holder and stand during storage, transportation, and use during fishing activities, without the need to use different products for each application.

When the set of handles are secured to the flanges, a user can easily grip the handles to transport the container to a new location. In addition, the container includes a circumferential lip that extends below the base, such that a user can easily grasp the lip at different locations to maneuver the container, without forcing the user to grip a specific handle on the bottom of the container.

    Abstract: A fish measuring device includes a flat, flexible base and an elongate, flexible tape measure secured to the base. A fish is positioned atop the base and the base is wrapped around the fish to inhibit its movement. Releasable fasteners maintain the base in the wrapped configuration during the measurement. The tape measure is extended into parallel, overlying relation to the fish so that the length of the fish may be measured. At least one stiffener is disposed in sliding engagement to the tape measure and is held in a vertical plane near the head of the fish. The tape measure is held taut from an exit point of the stiffener in parallel relation to the fish so that the measurement can be made. At least one suction cup is formed in a reverse side of the base so that the base is releasably secured to a flat support surface.

    Abstract: A tool for saving the lives of captured fish that are swollen by expanded gases when brought to the surface includes an elongate hollow tube of rigid construction having a sharp cutting edge formed in a distal free end of the tube. A user grasps a proximal end of the tube and punctures a fish at a predetermined location in its body with the sharp cutting edge to allow gases to flow out of the body of the fish until the body returns to a substantially unswollen condition. The fish is conventionally resuscitated prior to release after the gases have been vented. The tube folds into a handle for storage when not in use.

A flow control valve extends through a first opening formed in the exterior wall and a second opening formed in the interior wall. Liquid fluid in the liquid fluid-holding reservoir is introduced into fluid communication with soil in the soil-holding space by opening the flow control valve. In another embodiment, a flask is retrofit into a single-walled container.

    Abstract: An improvement in cast nets includes a first ring to which a throw rope is releasably attached and a second ring that is interconnected to the first ring by a housing that allows the rings to swivel independently with respect to one another. The second ring is releasably attached to a semicircular handle that is attached to an apertured flat disc. Each brail has an uppermost end that extends through an aperture in the disc and which is knotted so that it cannot fall back through the aperture. An annular ring is releasably attached to the flat disc and overlies the knots to prevent axial travel of the brails. The rotational connection between the rings facilitates throwing the net, and the connection of the top end of the brails to the apertured disc inhibits tangling of the brails with one another and facilitates replacement of broken brails.
