  • Publication number: 20230329291
Abstract: A method comprising selecting at least one granola; mixing at least two additives with a selected granola and at least one sugar; coating the at least one granola with a dry corn syrup solid; generating a first moisture barrier that encapsulates a coated granola; dividing the granola cluster into at least one predetermined size; reducing a temperature associated with the granola cluster; generating a second moisture barrier that encapsulates the first moisture barrier that encapsulates the coated granola; and storing the coated granola cluster in a climate-controlled package for at least twelve hours.

  • Patent number: 11630982
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure address systems and methods for fixed-point quantization using a dynamic quantization level adjustment scheme. Consistent with some embodiments, a method comprises accessing a neural network comprising floating-point representations of filter weights corresponding to one or more convolution layers. The method further includes determining a peak value of interest from the filter weights and determining a quantization level for the filter weights based on a number of bits in a quantization scheme. The method further includes dynamically adjusting the quantization level based on one or more constraints. The method further includes determining a quantization scale of the filter weights based on the peak value of interest and the adjusted quantization level. The method further includes quantizing the floating-point representations of the filter weights using the quantization scale to generate fixed-point representations of the filter weights.

  • Patent number: 9560868
Abstract: A system and method for fortifying fruits with a nutrient solution containing vitamins in order to meet the daily required nutrient values for those vitamins. Ideally, one serving of fortified fruits will have the amount of nutrients that would be present in 2-4 servings of unfortified fruits. In a preferred embodiment, the fruits will be frozen and positively charged and the nutrient solution will be negatively charged in order to ensure that the nutrient solution will adhere to the fruits.

  • Publication number: 20090129452
Abstract: A method and apparatus for testing the functionality of a data decoder is provided. The functionality of a decoder is examined through the used of a functional bitstream. The functional bitstream is a bitstream which when decoded by a properly functioning decoder, produces a desired output. Such a bitstream can be created by receiving an input bitstream, compressing the input bitstream, thereby creating a compressed input bitstream. The compressed input bitstream is then decompressing, thereby creating an intermediate bitstream. The intermediate bitstream is then compressed, thereby creating a compressed intermediate bitstream. The compressed intermediate bitstream is then decompressed, thereby creating an output bitstream. Finally, a comparison is performed to determine if the output bitstream is equivalent to a desired bitstream.

  • Publication number: 20060174296
Abstract: Embodiments can include the steps of 1) predicting a test frame or region from a plain frame or region, such as a gray frame or region, using the compressions tools, or features under test, that are to be tested by a test bitstream, and 2) predicting from the test frame or region a plain (such as gray) frame or region. The method can include 3) using the previously produced plain frame to predict a test frame or region using the compressions tools, or features under test, that are to be tested by a test bitstream. This prediction scheme can be identical to the previously used prediction scheme. Thus, the same error will be repeatedly produced in the decoder and, thus, the total error magnitude will be amplified. In some embodiments steps 2 and 3 can be repeated to amplify the errors further.

  • Patent number: 6414719
Abstract: Apparatus and methods relating to a motion adaptive median filter. In an embodiment of the present invention, a motion adaptive median filter includes a motion detect circuit, a soft switch, and a median filter. The motion detect circuit can have an output. The soft switch can have a first input and an output, and the first input of the soft switch can be coupled to the output of the motion detect circuit. The median filter can have a first input, and the first input of the median filter can be coupled to the output of the soft switch.
