  • Patent number: 5176929
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the complex processing and preservation of alimentary plants, mainly seasonal alimentary plants. The process according to the invention comprises--depending on the type of the plant--purifying and, if desired, crushing the plant, digesting it, adjusting it to other alcohol content of 15 to 45% by volume by adding ethanol before or after separation of the solid part, letting it stand for at least 3 weeks, then separating the solid and liquid phases, storing the liquid phase for an optional time, if desired absorbing carbon dioxide or in inert gas in the material to be fed in, then after pre-heating the liquid to a temperature between 50.degree. and 100.degree. C., distilling the alcohol from it by flash distillation under a pressure of 6.4-26.6 kPa, at a temperature of 40.degree. to 80.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 5093141
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the production of alcohol-free wine, i.e. wine containing less than 1% by volume of alcohol, and of wines containing reduced concentrations i.e. 1 to 7% by volume of alcohol with the simultaneous production of brandy by using continuous vacuum film distillation with continuous introduction of carbon dioxide and/or an inert gas, producing thereby a dynamic atmosphere of carbon dioxide and/or an inert gas, at the temperature of at most 100.degree. C., preferably 40.degree.-100.degree. C. and in a vacuum of 6.45-25.80 kPa.

  • Patent number: 4903773
Abstract: A method for injecting water into fluid storing rocks containing clay minerals, in particular in hydrocarbon sites formed by sandstones, sands, marlaceous sandstones, water storing rocks, geothermic circulation sites, in zones in the vicinity of wells, extending to large sites. Continuously or discontinuously compounds are introduced into the storing rocks having a hydrated cation diameter in the range between 0.13 and 0.15 nm, a coordination number 12. The compounds are preferably potassium-, and/or ammonium-, and/or zirconium salts. Depending on the clay content of the storing rock, stabilization is performed by using a solution of the enumerated salts in a concentration of 0.1-500 g/l, advantageously 0.1 to 300 g/l, and in a quantity of 0.5 to 5000 m.sup.3, preferably 50 to 3000 m.sup.3, which is related to the vertical dimension of the rock, expressed in meters.

  • Patent number: 4875809
Abstract: The present invention relates to a new process for stabilizing the clay minerals in reservoir rocks containing oil, in particular in rock comprising sandstones, sand, or marliceous sandstones as well as eliminating the electrostatic dispersion and swelling of the clays when steam injection is used for mineral oil exploitation. According to the process, cations capable of stabilizing the reservoir rock, having a hydrated diameter of 0.13 to 0.15 nm, preferably potassium and/or ammonium and/or zirconium ions are introduced in the form of a 0.01 to 5.0 N aqueous solution or in the form of a vapor mixture or a mixture of steam and gas(es).

  • Patent number: 4799551
Abstract: There is provided a process for the enhanced recovery of oil from oil bearing strata with gaseous or liquid form of carbon dioxide, the improvement which comprises prior to or simultaneously with the injection of carbon dioxide, injecting into the strata in a single slug or in a plurality of slugs a material consisting essentially of at least one compound which has a clay-effect inhibiting cation with a hydrated ion diameter of from about 0.136 to about 0.15 nm and a coordination number of 12, in a concentration number of 12, in a concentration of from about 0.001 mol to about 50 mol.

  • Patent number: 4795564
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for improving the sedimentation and filtering properties of waste waters and/or slurries and muds containing clay minerals. The waste waters and/or slurries obtained in the various technologies and containing clay minerals and optionally also other solid components are treated with compounds containing ions having a hydrated ionic diameter of from 0.12 to 0.15 nm and a co-ordination number of 12.
