    Abstract: An attachable, adjustable railing device for shelves comprises a plurality of horizontal rails, a plurality of vertical braces, and a structure to fasten to a shelf. The rails are “L”-shaped being joined along a front edge portion by a telescoping insertable connection for adjusting an overall width of the device. The rails further comprise fasteners affixed to side portions which attach to corresponding fasteners attached to adjacent surfaces of cabinets, cupboards, walls, or other adjacent structures.
