In one embodiment, the present techniques are implemented using an installation system including a processor-based system and a locator system. The processor-based system is configured to indicate a location of a part to be installed while the locator system is configured to provide the location to the processor-based system.

Further, the medical device may be wirelessly coupled to the portable computer system. The device may be serviced by a field engineer and/or a remote servicing center via the portable computing system and the wireless connection. An electronic toolset may be employed.
