Abstract: A flame color-enhancing apparatus includes a hollow outer tubular member having a predetermined copper content, a predetermined inside diameter and surface, and a first predetermined length; and an internal tubular member frictionally disposed within the outer tubular member to a predetermined ratio of contact of the interior surface of the outer member to exterior surface of the internal tubular member. The internal tubular member contains a predetermined content of chlorine-based polymer and has a second predetermined length and an outside diameter substantially equal to the predetermined inside diameter.

Abstract: A system and method for providing a presentation instrument in combination with a financial statement includes a host computer system and a printer communicatively coupled to the host computer system. A presentation instrument initializing machine is communicably coupled to the host computer system. The system also includes a mail processing machine. The host computer system is configured to determine when to consolidate the presentation instrument with the financial reporting information, to transmit instructions to the printer to print the financial reporting information, to transmit instructions to the presentation instrument initializing machine to initialize a presentation instrument and to transmit to the mail processing machine instructions to combine the presentation instrument with the printed financial reporting information.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for determining security features to be included upon a commercial instrument. Security features are dynamically selected for inclusion on a particular commercial instrument based on the characteristics of the customer, as applied to the security criteria related to the particular instrument. The selected security features are printed on the applicable instrument, and this process of dynamic selection and printing may be repeated for each of a number of additional instruments.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine-readable mediums are disclosed for strategic communications. In one embodiment, the strategic communications system comprises a rules data store including a decision rule, a recipient data store including recipient data for a plurality of recipients, and decision logic configured to determine for each of the recipients whether to include a decision-based component on the correspondence for the respective recipient based at least on the decision rule and the data associated with the respective recipient. The strategic communications system further includes correspondence manager logic to format the correspondence for each of the recipients and a printer including a selective perforation module to selectively add the perforation to the correspondences including the decision-based component.
