Abstract: A system and a method for identifying and/or for matching labor services via a computer network are provided. A laborer uses the computer network to input laborer information into the database. The database is programmed to generate a member number that allows the laborer to identify himself/herself to a contractor and/or to a union. The contractor uses the computer network to review the laborer information in the database to find the laborer to provide a service. The union verifies and/or releases the laborer information of the laborer to be viewed by the contractor. The laborer who is the most productive, the most qualified and/or the most suitable to perform the service for the contractor is more likely to be chosen by the contractor to perform the service.
