Contextual breadcrumbs may be caused to be displayed on the current page. The contextual breadcrumbs may comprise a simplified representation of a first different page. The first different page may be different from the current page. The simplified representation of the first different page may comprise context information regarding a function of the first different page. The context information regarding a function of the first different page may comprise a visual representation of functional options of the first different page. At least one of the contextual breadcrumbs may be configured to enable the user to act upon the functional options of the first different page from the current page.

Abstract: A system and method to apply a first User Interface (UI) layout associated with a first system to a second UI associated with a second system. A user overlay interface application identifies the components and/or functionality of a target UI, such as the first UI, to information presented by a second system. In this way, the user may select the UI format desired for multiple systems and thus improve the user experience using multiple systems.

A request may be received, from a user on a device having a user interface, to search for an item listed for sale in a marketplace. A balance amount of an account associated with or available to the user at the marketplace is displayed in the user interface. The search results are limited to at least one item having a sales price less than the displayed balance amount and the at least one item is displayed in the user interface. The account may be a user account at a payment service provider.

Abstract: Systems, methods and media are proposed for user intent tracking streams. One example embodiment relates to a system that comprises an identification module to identify a plurality of aspects of contextual or personal information relating to a user, and an analysis module to analyze the plurality of aspects of contextual or personal information to identify user intent or a likelihood relating to a pre-determined action. The system further comprises a correlation module to correlate the user intent or likelihood with at least a sub-set of the analyzed aspects of contextual or personal information to identify an intent tracking stream for the user, the intent tracking stream based on the correlated sub-set, and a tracking module to track the intent tracking stream as a user identifier or a predictor of the pre-determined action.

Abstract: A method for improving boarding of passengers and baggage onto a flight, comprises, at a predetermined time before the scheduled departure of the flight, determining an eligible carry-on baggage items count of carry-on baggage items eligible for treatment as checked baggage items. The eligible carry-on baggage items count is based on predetermined criteria comprising at least one of an aircraft type for the flight, a passenger load factor for the flight and carrier historical data relevant to the flight. If the eligible carry-on items count is greater than zero, then an offer to a passenger on the flight to have the passenger's carry-on baggage item treated as a checked baggage item is communicated, and the passenger's communication in response to the offer is received. For each accepted offer, decrementing the eligible carry-on items count.

The scale emits an audible warning when weight exceeds a preset amount. A side panel comprises is a small liquid crystal display or LCD screen that shows the amount of weight measured. Next to this screen are directional buttons to preprogram the present invention with an acceptable weight.

Abstract: The invention describes a method for hardening a security mechanism against physical intrusion and substitution attacks. A user establishes a connection between a network peripheral device and a network via a security mechanism. The security mechanism includes read only memory (ROM) that contains code that initiates operation of the mechanism and performs authentication functions. A persistent memory contains configuration information. A volatile memory stores user and device identification information that remains valid only for a given session and is erased thereafter to prevent a future security breach. A tamper-evident enclosure surrounds the memory elements, which if breached, becomes readily apparent to the user.
