    Abstract: An accelerator pedal module for controlling the power of a driving machine of a motor vehicle in which a two-point calibration is effected, so that the idle travel distances can be selected as substantially shorter than in the accelerator pedal module known before. In particular, it is proposed that first the sensor be calibrated in the position of repose, and then the so-called kick-down angle position of the pedal lever is set via a set screw.
