The implant as per the invention made up of a fiber composite material contains resorbable mineral bone cement as the matrix material, to which reinforcing, long metal fibers and/or endless metallic fibers with an aspect ratio of at least 100:1 are added in the form of at least one fiber structure that provides a framework and that preforms the contour of the implant.
