    Abstract: An adapter that is to be mounted on each end of each axle of a skateboard. The adapter is to be added to the axle after the conventional wheels of the skateboard have been removed. The adapter extends the wheel mounting for the skateboard some distance from the peripheral edge of the platform of the skateboard. A substantially larger wheel can then be utilized in conjunction with the skateboard facilitating usage of the skateboard within terrain other than hard surface terrain such as grass and dirt.
