  • Patent number: 11092170
Abstract: A stage assembly (10) includes a stage (14), and a fluid actuator assembly (24) that moves the stage (14). The fluid actuator assembly (24) includes a piston housing (32) that defines a piston chamber (34); (ii) a piston (36) that separates the piston chamber (34) into a first chamber (34A) and a second chamber (34B); (iii) a supply valve (38C) that controls the flow of the working fluid (40) into the first chamber (34A); and (iv) an exhaust valve (38D) that controls the flow of the working fluid (40) out of the first chamber (34A). The supply valve (38C) has a supply orifice (250G) having a supply orifice area, and the exhaust valve (38D) has an exhaust orifice (352G) having an exhaust orifice area. Moreover, the supply orifice area is different from the exhaust orifice area. Further multiple valves of different sizes can be used in combination for the supply and exhaust for each chamber (34A), (34B).

  • Patent number: 6516531
Abstract: The invention relates to a template for renovating a first bathtub connected to an existing drain by cutting a hole in the first bathtub and inserting a second bathtub having a bowl, a deck and a drain hole, the template comprising: a reference frame; a drain locating member movable in relation to the frame; a level indicating means to indicate verticality of the drain locating member; a member contact point on the frame for contact with the drain locating member; a stencil means on the frame corresponding to at least a part of an outline of the rim of the bowl of the second bathtub; wherein the contact point and the stencil means are arranged so that when the drain locating member is vertical and in contact with the contact point, cutting the outline of the first bathtub according to the stencil will provide a hole which when the second bathtub is inserted will bring the drain hole adjacent with the existing drain.

  • Patent number: 6100736
Abstract: A phase comparator compares phase of a clock signal and a generated comparison clock signal based upon rising edges. The output of the phase comparator may include a series of short up (U) pulses or down (D) pulses, depending whether the phase of the comparison clock is leading or lagging the clock. Up and down pulses U and D control an up/down shift register which in turn compensates phase difference by inserting or removing additional discrete delay elements in a variable delay line. Based upon delay signals generated by the variable delay line, a double frequency clock generator generates a 2.times. clock signal. The 2.times. clock signal is divided by 2 in a divider to supply the phase comparator with the generated comparison clock signal. The feedback scheme helps the digital delay lock loop of stabilize after a few clock cycles without additional external control.
